Dear CUAFA colleagues and friends,

It is bittersweet as I step down as President of the Columbia University Asian Faculty Association before completing my two-year term to assume the role of inaugural Dean of the Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology at IIT Kanpur, India.

Serving as President of CUAFA has been a tremendous honor and one of the most rewarding leadership experiences of my time at Columbia. I am deeply grateful to our Executive Committee, our members, and the many colleagues whose enthusiasm, dedication, and friendship have strengthened our community. Together, we have continued to build an organization that supports, celebrates, and advocates for Asian faculty across the University.

Thank you for the privilege of serving you. I look forward to watching CUAFA continue to thrive and will always remain a proud supporter.

With gratitude,

Anil K. Lalwani
